New Bin?
I was just wondering if I should just wait for a new bin for the Coolsats or should I sell my 8100 and buy a SonicView 8000 HD? I don't know much about SonicView so somebody please help and inform me, please? Also, would I have to change anything (satellite dishes, cables settings, etc.) if I do buy a SonicView 8000? Let me know whose support is better as well.

Re: New Bin?
fact is the sonicviews have been up since Jan 08 2009 without a glitch
fact is coolsats have went down alot since then and have waited days at a time for files
the sv8000hd is a great receiver with great support
same dish and cables will work
if you want hd then you will need the A-1 8psk board and a dish pointed at 129w

The dish and cables work the same for either receiver.

Re: New Bin?
Thank you for all the quick replies! Just a few more questions. What satellites will I have to point at to get the channels for the SonicView 8000, including the HD channels? Also, about how many channels and HD channels are there on the SonicView? More than Coolsat, same, or less?

Re: New Bin?
119/110/129
119>275-300
110>300-350
129>200-300
all depends on your location and what locals you can get

Re: New Bin?
Actually, just one last question? 129W, is that all HD channels or is it a mix of normal and HD channels?
