Everything is the same except the 800 has pvr & the 700 has a usb port in the front. Setup is exactly the same.

PVR capable, you still need to buy a hard drive separately.

Re: Cw700 vs cw800???
Ok guys i order my cw700 yesterday so i should get it soon. Now, this is my question, When i go to the cw700 section i see a few sticky, like: factory file 1.03, 2.10 all new cw700 boxes from factory need to load this file, dead cw700 after bin 1.95, first time install cw700 2008 added serial security... So when i get my unit how exactly do im suppose to set it up, I know the settings but when it comes to files wich are the only files that i need to load first, second, ect.

Re: Cw700 vs cw800???
I just read of some issues with the last file and clones. They never did specify if a new receiver still needed the 1.93 loaded, my advice would be to load it. You're also best off to wait for a few more opinions on this.
