CW800 problem, Help?

My best friend have DN services, So thats mean the dish is set correctly. He got 2 new cw800 today, We load the latest bin, did the settings, scan bird, enable patch and everything works but this is the problem, When i go to menu, anntena setting, installation i got 90% quality and 90% strenght on both 119 and 110. And also on both stb. But, when i go back to watch TV it works but if i change the channel and go back to the last channel strenght is there but no quality at all. So basically when i go to anntena settings i got 90% all the time on both 119 and 110, But when i go back to watch TV it works fine but once i start changing channels strenght stay but quality is gone. Help Please.

Are you using any switches & if you are do you have them set to the right ports. In your antenna settings does it say found 119 on your 119 settings & found 110 on your 110 settings

I am not in my bestfriend house cause he do not have a computer But i can tell you that there is not switch at all, just regular dn lnb... You mention if it say found 119 on your 119 settings & found 110 on your 110 settings..Like i say i am not at the house right now but why did you mention this? It is because on the 119 settings it suppose to say found 119 and on the 110 settings found 110? what happend if in the 110 settings say found 119??

I dont remember the settings but i got one cw800 my own and i did the same settings, he is my neighbor, i even brought his 2 stb to my house and works 100% with my dish. I do remember the basic, satellite list, 110 is first and 119 is second, 110 is on lnb 2 and 119 is on lnb 1, both on OCS-DP. Let me also mention this, His LNB dont have numbers, have letters, Like, A, B. But in settings i try that also, like: 110 on burts b and 119 on burts A but same thing no difference.

that would mean your dish is not aligned properly

Make sure he doesn't have any splitters in his lnb line.

Like i mention before i am not in my bestfried house cause he do not have computer but i can tell you that i try every settings, In LNB type i try normal plus ocs-dp i also try LNB 1 for 119 and LNB 2 for 110 and burts A for 119 and Burts B for 110 because his LNB have letters not numbers. It works better when i set the lnb type to normal, this is normal?? because the one in my house is set OCS-DP.

elavate dish to 30.6 or sometimes even as far as 40 ive went
skew your dish to 120

so dont get to frustrated because most of 119 is gone well the good stuff and some 110 moved also plus ur friend migh have a sw21 switch and not a diseq i dont know cuz im not there but female ends even between lines unless apparently blue plastic colour inside not white so i hear will not let sat signal pass through i test a captiveworks800 a captain7000 a viewsat platinum and i dont really want to discuss my other paper weights
as i wont bash they were good to us 4 along time ive been running fta since 2002 used to do plastic but a guy at a comp store had it this waz a dreambox couldnt get it to work we did then we went and bought coolsat way user friendly and so on and so on i find ur best to have a coulple boxes or get dongle for your captiveworks and run iks almost every box capable of running dongle then iks but u will need a router and some other stuff then so we will work on one thing at a time here sry

Is hard to believe that is the dish cause two days ago it was working fine with DN services, But i think that yes is the dish maybe but for some reason it moved and need alignment. But **** i dont want to move that dish because if is not the dish then i mess up.

i dont beleive ur dish is messed try 303 hbo west i still get that 1 if not sometimes 119 transponder changes on u especially if u do a factory default so 119 transponder frequency should be 12399 and if ur friend has diseq sometimes u have to depending on the box is make sure it left ur auto roll on and if captive works sometimes new files disable patch on my captiveworks800 anyways its happened and bottom left of remote f1 im just going by memory where that button is pretty sure its bottom left push f1 then 000 your box will either say patch enabled or patch disabled if it says disabled hit f1 again and then000 to enable and on some boxes u have to put like say 119 waz in port 1 and 110 in port 2 sometimes u have to put it in 3 times like assign port i hate trying to explain this stuff over comp if u cant get it call me 705 549 4887 my name is tim im in canada ontario

i dont mean this to sound funny but if u havent been into this 4 long sometimes just by turning box off on back and then back on again if u have switch at back not all do alot of times that un freezez things but this loss of channells we have to wait now 4 n3 bin if our boxes will support it i dont know i have a good friend actually my best friend works at a sat shop and hes been telling me 4 weeks that this is gonna happen apparently it wont last as long as bev but again thats his opinion what im hearing out here in ontario is that we will finally get all echo gone and process was supposed to take around 2 weeks 4 them to take all dont ask me why cuz i have no idea how they just take some and some not all but bev did same thing so anyways not to bore you's word is is after either this 2 week period of loosin or could be 2 weeks with it gone i am being told we will have both back and quick apparently fix is out for n3 and obviously it is to some degree because nfusion still get bev not all but most and my friend was not affected by this channel loss at all with echo like we were but in my earlier post i talked about dongle i will try mine on captain7000 later today cuz have tattoo customers today so will be pretty busy but when i hook it up i will let u know if i get any of those echo channels back apparently i should with dongle running iks but dont want to say it works on captain without trying first i know it works on nfusion cuz alot of people i know went that way when bev went out that was the only way to get it back was iks anyways i hope ive helped someone and not just a bunch of rambling and i aint into rumours dont stat them nor do i want to the stuff i have stated is based on my friends opinion who just happens to work 4 a sat company that all ill say about that anyways allready running late its 930 am here i will beback around 1130 am 4 a quick bite to eat but if u need some advice i dont mind talking somethrough some things because sometimes people understand better plus i can go to same menu as long as its someone who owns something i own but alot of experience with all different boxes but we all have our favorites anyways i hope my friend is wrong and we get a bin file today but i doubt it because he was righ as rain about bev and i really beleive he knows his stuff he even does internet satellitte hook ups 4 company only though 4 now anyway lol

Hello PainterGuy I have a question what is N3 and where can I read up on it? Is there a link and do I need to run another dish to get this?

we are and were running nagra 2 since a while i dont know how long u guys been doing this but the mod's will know about maprom57 when bev shut us down a coulple well probobly like 4 yrs ago 4 2 months probobly longer because i remember buying rom 102 card and card reader n3 to me the way i read it and am being told about it its just a faster stream runs more numbers and some boxes processors may not be able to deal with it like i said i have a friend works for sat comp and he said its been affecting some paying subscribers too when they get rolling the keys or ecm actually cuz rarely change keys so apparently this is what they call a card swap from bev anyway anyone living out here got new cards not rom 102 though thats what we got 3 to 4 years ago the nice yellow and blue card or for states they had niceer looking cards then ours on theres not plain like our bev but if been to over 15 to 20 sites since yesterday and today and the only thing i see is gor sv with hub which i m pretty sure thats what we call iks and dongle please correct if im wrong because i do not want to be giving out wrong info anyways n3 is just a new strem which apparently well not apperently it is cracked just waiting 4 echo to do same as bev before they put it out because beleive me when i say it costs them a fortune to do these card swaps map roms ecm stuff like that were being told over here that at7t have bought out bev and thats why so guarded because they had to prove to at7t before they would agree to buy apparently that they could keep people out well they cant never will there will always be a re action 4 there action if yous havent been following they camre into ontario where i live and if im not mistaken all across canada removed nfusions off all sat stores cops were going in and getting them by the box loads but they only took nfusions cuz bev is very pissed tha nfusion can still watch there programming not al but close and getting more that why fix is allready out for n3 it will just have to be incorperated into a bin file somehow that i wish i new how to do but to fish what i was saying so bev is or is in the process of being bought out by at&t and supposedly they bought echo or are buying them soon to and merging isd anyone else hearing this stuff can someone other then my friend confirm mind u i believe my friend hes never lied before to me abou sat stuff or anything 4 that matter but he has always been right and if u lived where i live ive been telling these guys for weeks we r going down slowly because channells kept going not lots but 1 or 2 here then 1 or 2 there and then between yesterday and this morning pretty much lost every 119 not all thats why i dont think u should play with ur dish but its something big because like i said ive been to over 15 20 sites and nuthing out really acceptthat thing for sv and it still had to be tested from what i was reading again if my info is false please let me know but i read and read and call my friend so really i just recommend reading and joining a coulple sites because sometimes fikles faster on some then others sometime info is correct other times it a rumour so ur better of to read and see what u think
