i herd that fta boxes are about to be gone forever. i herd that the way the coders were able to unlock the boxes is now out and that there wont be anymore fixes avalable to any of the boxes.

Don't know where you heard that but theres all kind of rumors going around....fta boxes are still in use but with nag3 upon nobody knows whats going to happen. As far as the fta boxes being gone forever don't believe everything you read. If something happens for sure you will see it here at ABA.

There are a great many things in flux right now, some groups are beginning to roll out some solutions (even if partial). Time will tell which are effective and to what degree.

nag 3 is just a more complex nag 2, it may take a while but I think the coders will solve it. the problem is nobody knows how long it will take.

until n3 is cracked cw might decide to explore the card sharing option which is already built into cw units (f1+555), but nobody knows for sure.

IKS and cardsharing are here to stay. And the Dish Providers can't do anything to stop that. So I don't think FTA is dead. Far from it. It's expanding!

Until N3 is cracked (and I have faith that it will), get yourself a sub, antenna or IKS box
