cw800s all channals scambled,new machine - ABA DSS

just put new firmware on receiver,flashed with latest bin cw800sv2.27 no errors.have great signal and quality,did a blind scan,found all channels,exited menu and waited for auto roll which i never saw it do.i have auto roll enabled,and have gotten patch enabled message.i get a few dishnet advertisement channels which makes me think the auto roll didnt happen.should i re-flash latest bin and rescan again?

just put it on channel 200 and let it sit till it rolls in
could take upto 30 mins

i have ch 199 and 201 no 200. ch 201 has a fixed dishnet advertisement about big tv .i will leave it alone for awhile ty

did you get the cw going? when it is auto rolling the front screen will flash and this will tell you that it is rolling.

iv tuned to 201 and let it set for 30 min.it displays the same screen and all channels scrambled yet.i did the cw800sv1.93 updat before anything.i put in my mod # twice and had no issues.still confussed

you did hit f1ooo and patch enabled? what are you getting for signal and quality? and it is showing that it has lock on the sat?

if iv done something wrong on the new setup,would i be able to scan and find all channels?considering the fact that auto roll hasnt taken place is it normal for my receiver to display everything scambled?i just want to make sure iv done everything correct and be happy to wait for it to roll.
p.s. what is manual key input? how do i do this? is this better then letting it auto roll?

i am getting 89-97 on signal.quality during scan was floating around 60-75 percent.i did f1 000 and got patch enabled.and it sat there for awhile with no other message.i hit f1 000 again to make sure and it said patch disabled.

try a hard boot ,turn off at the back(rocker switch)and let it sit a few seconds and turn back on this sometimes kicks it in.you should not have to enter keys,let it roll.if you still get nothing do a factory default and i would reload file again and start over.when you go to sat installation and look at say 110 it is showing that its locked on this sat by displaying the sat again in the corner?

I just read your first post and you said you did a blind scan?.,.,.,so what birds are you aimed at?.,.,how many channels is it pulling in?.,if you do end up rescanning, instead of a blind scan just tell it what birds to scan.,.also,.,alot of channels are N3 on DN so make sure you go to a channel that has a chance to work.,.,

i have the factory default zip here.i assume it over writes the old with no nags.im used to working on daves eprom.
one question..after i flash eprom,scan channels and exit,should my unit go into an auto roll screen?

there is no auto roll screen it just flashes on front display,and like deanluna suggested do manual scan it does work better.it starts to autoroll as soon as pactch has been enabled.

there's not really an autoroll screen.,.,it should just go to one of the channels that are scanned in.,.,,sometimes it takes a few minutes to kick in.

also 47 nim2.82w .
im at 65802 missouri.
im using a dishnet500 oval with 1 lnb.i have great signal and quality
im new to fta.have analog sat finder

82 west is HD and you will not get this sat.

when you are in anntena setting and you select 110w does it show you that you are locked?.,.,you have to be locked on a bird in order to scan it.,.,once you figure out what bird you're pointed at (if any) you'll be set.,.,82w is all N3 and will not work.

ok.,,there's your problem.,.,.,you need to repoint your dish to either 110w or 119w.,.,when you are repointing a message will pop on the screen telling you what bird you are on (locked on to).,.,
