Auto TP On Or Off When Aiming For 119?

My friend had some damage to his Dish 500 and is putting
up a new one. Should he leave auto TP on or off when he
is aiming?

doesn't matter, at least I've never bothered withthat setting. just set antenna parameters: 11250/12239, port 1 or 2 etc., or none if he is going direct to LNB for signal. Thats what I do , get the signal first then shut down and hook up DiSq
