This is a cut and paste that I revised to actually work.
How to load custom background image
You can change the background pic for menu and radio modes.
Menu-system setting-osd-background-scroll left right to pick from b1-b2-user logo(when image has been loaded)
1.your pic must be no larger than 720Wx480H
2.your pic's file size can be a max of 64kb's.
3.your pic must be JPEG format.
4.once you have your pic resized to the requirements start the loader.
and change options to "Download logo1".Select the folder to open "select file" pop up window as normal, but here change the "files of type" option to jpeg then you can select your pic.
5.select your com port.
6.load as normal,in "boot" or "standby" mode.(this goes very fast as its a small file.)
7.menu-system setting-osd-background-scroll to "user logo" and your done.go to radio and check her out,to get a good look to see how it fits, press volume + or - wile in radio mode.

End C/P
Added by Sp0iler:
You may get an error that you cant open this file "m2vence.dll".
If you do...get the file here:
http://www.abadss.com/forum/808-cw-8...-dll-file.html
I have also included a test image.
Extract the file to your location of choice.
Right click on the file and copy the file.
With the loader closed,
Right click on the loader icon and paste the file to the loader.
The loader will now open on its own and your good to try again to open the file.
Happy testing,
