Newbie needing help
Hello everyone,
I am new to FTA and writing for the first time on this site. I got a 18inch direct TV dish and also ordered a Viewsat Ultra V2 receiver. I will be getting my receiver tomorrow or tuesday. I wanted to get the Indian channels on 61.5W . I had a few questions and needed some help in setting this up:
1. I just want to connect the receiver to one TV. So should I just connect one coax cable from the LNB to the receiver? The LNB has two ports though. Which one should be used.
2. Once the cable is connected and the receiver is switched on, what is the first step that needs to be done? This is a viewsat Ultra V2 receiver.
3. How do I check the signal strenght and enter the setting information. When do I enter the settings? What files to download to get the receiver working.
