How do I get vietnamese channels for wife?

I have a DN 500 with dual lnb. I'm using it with my CNX nano presently (3 days to be exact). Do I need another dish? Another lnb? Another receiver? Etc.

You can 1 viet with 500 plus dish dish network and 1 with t5 satellite

There are 3 vietnamese channels you can pickup with 2 lnb's on the same dish (36"). 2 are true fta (vtv4 and vbs) use a universal or linear lnb, 1(thuan viet) on DN use a special circular lnb with lo freq. of 10750.

I'll try to see if I can see those channels and will try to set my frequency to get that 3rd channel. I have no idea as of right now as to how to do this. Again, I'm pretty new at this so please bear with me. Thanks.

For Thuan Viet you need at least an 33" dish and a cirular lnb with LO frequency of 10750. Add the following transponder info to your stb: 11745v 20000, and set the lnb frequency on your stb to 10750. Use dishpointer website to get the general direction of the dish angle, with the stb transponder set to 11745v start turning the dish very slowly and watch for quality signal on the screen.

Hi phivietnamboy and curot, get worldirect 36"~ $55 came w/2 lnb round is circular lnb use for 110 119 129... odd shape one is linear use for T5 97.0W true FTA satellite where VBS and Vtv4 are . Tviet on 118.8W takes special lnb search on flea bay for cb2008~$16, very posible on same 36" dish will get all 3 viet channels. but for good start 30" or bigger dish just for Tviet, with cb2008 go for 119 w/good S and Q. use reciever and small tv for signal detecting, now set reciver on A-f3(118) tp11745 to fine tune the Q for Tviet, move dish to west just a hair at a time once got best Q tite every thing up and auto scan 119. remember set lnb freq 10750 not 11250 for 119, Tviet will be included in 119, if not go to seup sat A-f3 add tp11745 v 2000 7/8 and scan A-f3. good luck. then for vbs and vtv4 worldirect 36" is top choice. with odd shape lnb in center dish on bracket use TP 11965 H SR22.000 in telstar5(97W) to fine tune vtv4 and 11929 Polar Vertical S/R 22000 FEC 3/4 for vbs, with 2 dish 3 viet channels, congrat, now go a head and put all 3 in one, need 3 lnb holder bracket for this ~$15 and a lot of beer and sun block or heavy jacket.
