Hi,
Can anyone tell me what are the settings for peace tv . Iam in San Diego and I have echostar dish 500. One of my friend is watching the same channel at Anik f3 118 LNB Frequency 10750 they have a super dish, but i can,t get this channel on these settings.

Any help will be appericiated .

Thanks for the help, but I don't understand why I am still unable to get Peace tv when my other friends are watching this channel on the same settings .

It's not clear to me that you have the right dish antenna. A DN500 is for 110W and 119W. To receive AnikF3 118.7W you will need a Superdish w/Repoint Kit or a DN500Plus or a DN1000Plus.

I am not sure about my dishes I have two dishes 110w and 119w setup by professional dn people but I am receiving all other international channels on anik f3 118.7

my friends who are watching peace tv has a super dish.

How can I find what dishes I have?

The channel list for AnikF3 does not show PeaceTV, and my DN Superdish121 w/Repoint Kit doesn't see it either. PeaceTV's website indicates they are broadcasting free on Tp13 11965V from Galaxy18 123W and through subscription WorldTV(Globecast) Galaxy25 97W. The "super dish" that you described may be aimed at 123W as it will require a large dish.

Thats what I thought that it is on galaxy and not on anik f3.but because my friend told me they are watching it on anikf3 I was scanning Anik f3 for this channel.

cool deals.....the only thing you can see those channel is by using 30" or bigger. super dish is 33". dish 500 is only 20" in diameter. measure your dish if it sez 30" you will be able to see fta international channel.

LNB: linear 118.7 or linear-circular combo(118-119)
Dish:30" or bigger
Dish setting: go to dish pointer.com for your location
Satellite setting: Anik F3 118.7
LNB Type: Single

I was able to confirm reception of PeaceTV today from Galaxy18 123W using a modified DTV Slimline(32x22") with a linear DN FSS LNB. The broadcast seems to be in both SD and HD formats.

Thanks for the info I don't understand all this technical stuff. As I told earlier I have two dishes installed by professionals 119 &110 I don,t know if I can get peace on this settings.

I got a DTV slimline5 too and thinking to add a FSS Lnb to pick up the DN 118.7 international channels. Can you advise the FSS lnb part to buy and how to mount it on the slimline 5. 1000 thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been gallivanting around the Universe and just checked in. I experiment with various setups and have confirmed the DT Slimline with the linear, bandstacked FSS LNB from the DN Superdish121 can receive FTA sats such as 95W, 97W, 123W and 129W. However, due to the small size and shape of the Slimline reflector, only the strongest transponders are viably received. In comparison my 3ABN/GeoSatPro 90cm(36") dish performs dependably for all transponders. This site limits posting for my membership status, so PM me with your e-mail address if you need a photo of how the LNB Assembly is to be mounted.

As for PeaceTV, I have been able to confirm it can also be received from AnikF3 118.75W Tp11715 as Elegance reported, although it is not promoted or listed on DN's website. Lyngsat does not confirm this either. Considering the typical "A La Carte" monthly fee that DN charges for unique channels, it seems more practical to receive PeaceTV from 123W at no charge after the initial dish/LNB investment of around $90 or less.
