haveing signal problem with my duo all the setting are correct was working a few days ago 119 is working the signal is alittle weak i know my lnb is fine works great with my 2 neo on the same cable picking up 110 and 119 but with my duo 110 is not coming did every thing from re boot top factory bin put in the latest patch no 110 is there another file to correct this problem it is not the setting 110 port 1 22k off lnb- dish pro1 sw-off .

Do you have 110 lnb hooked to a diseqc switch? That's the only time I see it set to port 1.

no, you still have to two ports with 500 pro lnb 119 port 1 110 port 2 , you still did not answer my question thanks any way.

Your first post says you have it set to port 1, just wondering.

I gather that you have 2 neos and a duo, all three hooked up the same time.

What LNBs and switches are involved in this setup?

load 2.42 as instructed then the 0421 patch

Well back when that upgrade was written....yes it incorporated the previous bev and charlie patches. But upgrade bins are only released when there is a new feature, or a repair of something in the main firmware. From then on you only deal with patches.

You cannot load patches into a facatory bin, only an upgrade bin. Therefore the need to load the most recent upgrade bin before the current patch. No, you don't have to load all the intermediate patches.

I believe that the 2 features that were added with the 2.42 bin was a different way to control the picture settings (an attempt to cure the problems with Sony TVs) and a "weekday" setting in the timed recorder.
