Why choose a CNX box?
Can anyone give me a reason to choose a CNX over something like a sonicview or viewsat box? Reason I am asking a guy I know uses a CNX and suggest that, but well..let's say he is not the brightest bulb, and couldn't give me any technical reason to choose a CNX.
I'm new to all this and learning a lot on my own, and would prefer to not have to rely or ask him to much.
Any information or opinions would be great.

Depends on your taste. Go for a sonicview.

Re: Why choose a CNX box?
Dude...CNX will not disappoint. They are a great line of receivers, and i'm very happy with the ones i have and the ones people i know have that i recommended. The support is just as good as vs and sv, and they are very user friendly. I had a all three at one time, but the Mini remains one of my favorite boxes, plus it has pvr capabilities.
