Re: CNX Duo static noise
if your running both boxes of same dish, make sure your dish is grounded properly

Re: CNX Duo static noise
Is that a new problem? I'm thinking perhaps it may just be an undocumented 'feature' of the lastest bin file.

Re: CNX Duo static noise
my guess is that you dont have enough signal from the dish. what is your Q on the distorted channels. its likely pixelation and resulting noise from a weak signal. some receivers have slightly better tuners and if your Q is not up there past 70 or weather is blocking the signal, this can happen.

Re: CNX Duo static noise
Q is past 80. so this is not issue. i thought it was lectric static, so plugged in sv 4000 in to that jack, it worked fine.

Re: CNX Duo static noise
that's a fairly common issue with cnx units.
they are made in China, and not best of quality.(not to slam them, but its true)
send this one back and have it exchanged with the 1 year no hassle warranty.your next one shouldn't do this.
good luck buddy.
