Can someone please tell me about cnx mini - ABA DSS

I've heard a lot of rumor about this receiver, some speculate that even with dongle IX-200 this unit is not working or that there is a lot trouble for the box to recognize the dongle.
I own one of these units and want to revive it but I don't want to buy a dongle that is more than half the price of a brand new receiver without having at least an idea that is gonna work.
Budget is limited and would love to save some dollars and at the same time I always liked this unit so I would love it if it worked.
Basically what i'm asking is if there is anyone out there that has this unit working and that is happy with it, I see that there is new files out there for the dongle and was hoping perhaps that it fixed all the issues, on the other hand also post if you are not satisfied with the box.

Well I have a mini and it had its ups and downs when I first got my dongle but now I have been up for about a month. It hardly freezes now and I'm very pleased with the dongle. I'm going to say that it is up to you if you want to buy the dongle or go with another receiver. If you keep reading in different forums you are going to see that many people have had there share of problems with the dongle and others that had success but thats part of testing. All I can say is that CNX is kicking but and they have open some ppv channels and more good things well be coming from them.

I test the CNX Nano w/ Dongle (IX-200) and it is working great.
I get a little glitching once in a while, but not bad at all.
Mostly it happens when using the PC at the same time. (bandwidth overload)

Also I have noted that a user should not try to channel surf (like we used to) because the server has trouble doing that.
It is best to select a channel you want to watch (via EPG) then select it & keep your hands off the remote.
If you do it this way, you will get minimum glitching.

I can assure you that the CNX server is doing way better than SV servers right now. (from what I hear)

my trio has been working great except for freezing on int'l's on the anik bird (118.7). i'd rate it 3.5 out of 5 only because the intl's freeze too much for my liking

i keep thinking of getting the dongle for a trio... can someone post a channel list for all the sats (including 118 and 91)
