118.7 question
I got myself a 33" dish and a circular/linear LNB. No matter what I try, I get 0 for signal Quality. However, for the signal Strength, I'm getting 90-95, and I'm pretty sure that I pointed it in the right direction.
How should I scan the channels? Should I use normal settings for 119 in channel search or what?
Thanks.

Re: 118.7 question
Are you using the linear spot in the LNB?
Also change the TPfreq to 12239 to find the Q for 119.

Sorry, could you please elaborate on that?
Also, do I need to change the LNB type to DishPro FSS and satellite to Anik F3?

Re: 118.7 question
Okay then.
Change your LNBfreq to 10750.
See if it works.

So I should use the following settings, right?
Satellite: Echo7 119W or Anik F3? (please tell me)
TP: 12239

Blind scan?

Re: 118.7 question
Okay well I'm finally getting 95/95 S&Q for 118, with 11750 as TP. However, I'm not getting all channels as listed on Lyngsat. Are there any troubleshooting tips?

Re: 118.7 question
I dont know about your receiver but on VSpro receiver you need to scan 118.7 with blindscan because they missed few TP's and so channels.
Try a blind scan and see what you can get.

There are quite a number of TP frequencies that don't get any quality, even when blind-scanned. I'm using CNX Mini. Please help.
