No signal
Hello, I am looking for help with my cnx-mini.
I have a dish 500 with a DPP.
My settings are:
119
diseqc=1
tp-12239
lnb- dish pro 1
22 khz - off
Multi dish -off
search - all channels
lnb power - on
110
diseqc-2
tp-12224
lnb -dish pro 1
22khz-off
multi dish- off
search- all channels
lnb power -on
I receive all channels on 119, but on 110 I receive "no signal" on all channels.
Can someone tell me what I have wrong.
Thanks.

Re: No signal
i agree, your dish is likely pointed incorrectly. it might just be the skew or you may have to move it ever so slightly.

Re: No signal
Thank you, for the help, now that I have this information, what do I do with it. My satelite is in concrete so don't think it turned.
Also to be sure it is hooked up right outside, one of the cables from the lnb is connected to the switch at #1 and the other cable is just hangling loose. When I asked my friend about it, he said it was for another receiver if I wanted one.
Thanks for any help

Re: No signal
if your using a dpro twin or quad they have a built in switch so no external switch is needed. Just run the cable straight from the lnb to the reciever. If your using dpro duals then you would use a 2x1 or 4x1 swictch.
needs external switch
no switch needed

Re: No signal
I am using the dish pro plus, so you are saying I don't need the switch at all and connect cable straight to receiver. Would my settings stay the same? Would this of been the reason I didn't get a signal from 110?
Thanks

Re: No signal
Okay I will try this in the morning, and see what happens.
Thank you for the replys and your help.
I seem to be getting a little more knowledge on this site.
Its been like this for 3 months, but didn't bother with it cause had plenty of channels, but family coming next week and would like to have all those ppvs on 110.
thanks again.

Re: No signal
I ran my cable straight from lnb to receiver and did a channel scan under diseqc switch search and now have all movie channels. Now that I have conquered the channels, I am moving on to recording, so may be back with more questions.
Thank you for your help and happy Christmas to everyone.
