Could I please get some help - ABA DSS

I have a 1000.2 dish setup with no switches,running a cw600p,cw800 and sv8000,all up and no probs.But,I suggested a friend try the conax mini and been trying to get it up for about 3 months now.Have read everything here,tried it over and over endlessly,blah blah.Ok,here's where I'm at,been only able to get half the channels,can't get 119 on diseqc #1,when I put on diseqc 12224#2 I have 95% s&q and it shows 110,I go to diseqc #3 on 12282 same thing 95% s&q shows 129.All other stb's strong on 119, stumped?Don't matter what tp setting I put 119 on,70% s,no quality?Any
suggestions?

Maybe the CNX mini doesn't have enough power for the 1000.2 dish (they are power pigs).

Do you have a DP44 switch?

yes,I have one,tried to use it with my quad,and tried this box with that lnb also.

the diseqc switch settings should be none?correct?

auto tp,off,all the auto rolls are on and no card.This stb has alot of settings I haven't seen in my other stbs.

So your hooking the mini up to your dish that has at least two of your boxes also hooked up ? If that is the case dont think power would not be the issue. 119 dsq #1

Main thing I don't get is why 110 and 129 are so strong and all other stbs are working great with this setup.I've read everything in here and seen nothing on power probs.I just thought maybe I was missing something in the setup.

have u tried unhooking the other 2 stbs and just hooking up the mini where one of the other stbs were ? just to see if u can get it going,, maybe its the mini,,

Read somewhere that not many people know much about this unit.Guess I made a bad decision getting it.Waiting on a sv360 to come in this week,going to setup another dish same setup.Hate to throw this thing away,but have never had a problem with any stb like this one and that's 5 different stbs.Has to be something in the setup for it not to see just the one sat?Well,if anyone can fiqure this one out,my hats off to ya,please let me know,thanks.

Yes,I have tried all 3 lines that have other stbs working great on them.Just did a factory 6.12 as a bootload,then the 3.42 uno as SW,then the last patch.Still won't see 119,but 110,129 are strong.Have the other 2 up and watching while working on this one.

did you select dish pro 1 as lnb type for all 3 birds?

you mention your buddy.but your trying this stb with your dish correct? or on a newly (unsure if aimed properly) dish?

also,if you are testing with your dish,and you mention having 3 stbs already.you didn't run a 4th line out from the lnb IN port correct?-just checking.

p.s.
and yes you did make a mistake purchasing this stb,as its discontinued.the replacement is the newer nano unit.

Have been testing with this same one dish setup and any stb I've checked works fine and no,not running 4th line,just 3.Maybe the lnb setting is what I'm missing,saw that and ran thru the lnb setting,says 1,2,3,4 and none.Where is dish pro1?I'm not seeing where that is?Under channel search,lnb?Only lnb setting I see.

Yes, and search from there also. It's better than using the diseqc setting page. You can also see what sat you are seeing at the bottom of the page.

Channel search page is the only settings page I'm using.The other page reads diseqc
switch and I left those setting at none,not running any switch,so this is correct?Went thru every setting here and don't see dish pro 1 or any dish pro setting at all.The set up page in this forum says set to dish pro #1,if anyone knows where its at please advise.

If you aren't seeing dishpro1 as a choice, I'll bet you don't have the upgrade bin loaded. There is no need for that in the factory bin so it won't be there.
