For some reason, while responding to Mig 15's message, the "Globecast Key" message posted earlier by Rasim was posted again. To avoid confusion, I recommend Rasim's message and all respective messages and threads should be removed from this site.

Thank you for your response on my Globecast problem, and today I know that is not a key issue to solve the blackout. In the following I will explain the complete observation regarding GC.

This is something new that happen on Sept.16.08 to Globecast Sat.
In general, when a key change implemented by the broadcaster, all pay channels are scrambled.
The Coder write a new program and or the new keys, down load or manually install into the receiver. This usually solves the Scrambling problem.
On Sept.16. on GC. The Hungarian DunaTv. went down, but all other pay channels running a o.k
I just find out today Sep.17 that peoples with Globecast receivers and activated smart cards as legit pay customers, receive DunaTv without any problem.
Only the FTA receivers are blank on DunaTv. (my Sonicview, Viewsat, Pansat) I dont know the other models.
This is scary, because if one sat provider could select one particular broadcaster to scramble and blackout a channel as they wish, we as FTA users could be in big trouble with the "others" not just GC.
Now the real chalenge is for the Coders if they come out with some new program to solve this proble.
Until then, we are without DunaTv programs

I think GC new key fore 00 is ok.But o1 neet new key.

It is always a good idea to make sure of the date of any post you're looking at. If we were to delete all posts that contained old info it would be a never ending battle.

Hi Camno and Rasim.

Thank you both for the info. The "keys" are not working, every other pay channels are there a o.k but the Hungarian Duna Tv is gone.
This is Software issue not keys.

yes i have a same problem no duna tv, rest of the pay and free ok

i run viewsat ultra and dbv card on dbv card i never loose duna tv, til now. any help please??
