When I try this I am getting a reset your STB message... I have tried turning the receiver off, unplugging it and I still get the message.

Can I use a pen-drive to download the new fix to the Viewsat Pro receiver? Do I have to use the loader too?

Re: how to use your loader
your cable is not the problem it is the speed of either the usb or null port it has to be high speed
but why are you using the cable anyway why don't you use a zip drive and put it in the front and turn it on and it loads much easier
