missing desi channels - ABA DSS

hello all. just wondering if anyone else has the same problem i do. i have a viewsat pro and am getting all channels on 110/119 and i have a separate dish to pick up 61.5. i had a viewsat ultra and that picked up sony, set max, and tv asia (channels 612, 613, 614) and on the pro, i can't get then. tried a million scans, blind and all, made sure the tp was in the edit list, can't think of anything else to check to make them show up. if anyone has run into this and has fix, any help is appreciated. the recent ecm is affecting receivers in different ways.

it is not the ecm i have this problem with one of my vs pvr 7000 for almost six month i can not get lot of ch on 61.5 and also on 119 i did everything i can post on this site so many time but never get solution i have 2 vs pvr 7000 1 have all the ch and the 2 have fewer then the other hopefully a genius look at this issue and give us some solution

i tried to call viewsat and ask them if there were an issue with the pro, but of course since it was echostar3 that i was trying to watch, no help. also, i read somewhere that this is a problem with just the pro. i had the ultra and extreme and it didn't seem to be a problem. hopefully someone figures this out or else my fiancee is going to make me my buy the channel (ahhhhh)

Hi Pranav,

Did you ever got the solution for those missing channels? I have viewsat ultra and i am having the same problem of not getting Sony Max, Sony and TV Asia.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ya i got it working
do a blind scan, and make sure your lnb type is correct, if you dont know what what is correct, just try a few different ones, thats what i did, set that and do a blind scan to pick up the tps that arent included. good luck
