USB Hard Drive issue - ABA DSS

With the last two firmware release I have started to have a problem with the video/audio freezing overnight. It appears to be caused by the USB hard drive. It is a 125gig formatted properly, fat32, etc. When I turn off the hard disk, the unit works fine. Then the unit does not see the hard drive. I then do a reboot and the hard drive is seen, then the process starts over again. If a program is recorded or left overnight, the freezing problem begins again.

Any ideas? Is this a firmware issue?

Yeah mines doing the same thing. Only way to really deal with it for now is to leave front usb port selected. Sucks but pretty much deals with the freezing issue right now. I read somewhere that it is a bug in the latest release, and that the fine coders at viewsat are working to address the problem. I know the last ECM was a tough one so if thats the only issue there is to deal with, one really cant complain. Thing I find thats odd, is that there hasnt been as much talk about it as I would have expected. However, that could be do to the fact that many may not have HD's for their pro yet, just my opinion.
