Viewsat Pro - No support for 118.7 (Anik F3)
Ok as everyone know that we have no support for the 118.7 (Anik F3) satellite. We are still using the Echostar 9 to view the 118.7 (Anik F3) channels. Does anyone know when we are going to get the dedicated support for the 118.7 (Anik F3) satellite? Also there is no EPG download for 118.7 (even on Echostar 9). When is this going to get fixed?

In 118W, i use echostar 7. I just add the tpfreqof 118W.. About EPG? I have no problem. Im using VS-U , X , Pro.

Yeah man, i meant Echostar 7, which is what we use with added TP frequencies. How do you get your EPG for 118.7, i seem to have problem... while 110 and 119 work great with the EPG download. Do you mind sharing your TP frequencies which let you download the EPG for 118.7. I will be very thankful. 
I also noticed that they have added Anik F3 recently in the new fixes. It seems to have missing some channels.. still checking on it. |

Are you locked in on 118.7?
How is your Q on that?
Are using another dish to get 118.7 or using a single lnb to get 118.7/119?
Your lnbfreq should be 10750.

Yeah, i am locked on to 118.7 or rather using the Echostar 9 (added the frequencies for the Anik F3 - as there was no option before). On the side note.. is Anik F3 satellite option working for anyone. I tried it.. and it is been on Autoroll for forever.
So i am still using Echostar 9 (customize to pick up 118.7).. I am getting all the channels and everything is fine.. except that there is no download option for EPG for the 118.7. The option of Charlie Down TP is for only Echostar 7 and 8/10.
Therefore, i am not getting guide. (i always have to put up on GEMNI channel to populate for that satelite.. but that too is slow and inconvience. So i was wondering if anyone is getting the EPG without specially populating it on a certain channel as in the case of Echostar 7, 8/10?

Sorry buddy i can give that one.
I'm working on my hardware to get 118.7 with my vspro.
(want it to escape from 61.5) but a need a bigger dish.
About the DL EPG only for 110/119 i think it is wrong..i can get EPG to my echo3(61.5).
You should be able to have 118.7 EPG.

There is no option to include any sattelite in the EPG setting (at least 118.7) for the DN Down TP.. Only Echo 7, 8/10 available. I would like to know if someone is able to download 118.7 EPG with the EPG setting feature.. If they do how they did it.

Yes, tried on Default TP. It doesn't download the guide for 118.7 while downloads for 110 & 119. Thats the reason i said.. there is no support for 118.7.
I used Anik F3 sattelite and all of its TPs are wrong or what.. it is still Auto Rolling while Echostar 9 (with 118.7 frequencies) is working fine except that there is no EPG for me, cant download.

Are you saying there is no support for anikf3 but on my vspro list of sat at antenna settings there is a anikf3 to setup.

Anik F3 is there.. quality is there also. But it is on Auto roll forever. It doesn't work. So no support for that.
Instead like i mentioned i use Echostar 9 with added 118.7 tp frequencies to get 118.7 channels. However, i am unable to receive proper EPG guide for 118.7 as the download feature in the EPG settings doesn't work and only works for (110 and 119).
I have been doing google, and it seems there is no solution to get EPG for 118.7. Therefore i request somebody to fix this issue.
