Just wondering if you get the "tivo" effect when you hook up a hard drive.

Dont know yet buddy but when i get my HD(dont when..LOL) i tell you.
But i dont think so anyways.

I don't believe so. Reviews I have read on the Pro do not say anything about "pause live TV" feature. Wont be long before we see such functionality, though.

the VS ultra has a pause feature

yes, the pro is able to pause when you are watching live tv. It only works if you have a hard drive hooked up to it though.
