Hello,
I am pretty new to all of this and I hope someone can help me getting my motor to move the way it is supposed to.
Here are the details:
Defining the satellites with "Antenna Setting > Motor Type > USALS" gets the motor to move automatically when I switch between satellites. It also allows the motor to be moved from the "Channel Search" menu.
Defining the satellites with "Antenna Setting > Motor Type > 1.2" DOES NOT get the motor to move automatically when I switch between satellites. But it does allow the motor to be moved from the "Channel Search" menu.
Under "Motor Setting > USALS Setting", the motor will move automatically to the selected satellite. It will also move to the center position.
Under "Motor Setting > DiSEqC 1.2 Limit Setting", the motor will move east or west. It will also move to the center position.
Under "Motor Setting > DiSEqC 1.2 Setting", the motor WILL NOT move automatically to the selected satellite.
Saving the satellite position does not work in any of the menus. It will
say it is saving but the motor NEVER goes to that location. It only goes to the original USALS location for the given satellite.
Under "Preferences > OSD Setting" I tried setting to "Auto DiSEqC" but it doesn't seem to change anything. I don't know what the setting is for.
My setup from the
LNB is:
Invacom QPH-031
Inline amplifier
SG 2100
Diseqc 1.2 motor
100' of RG6
Viewsat PRO (LAT and LON set correctly on USALS sub-menu)
I get good signal and quality on the Clark belt from 79W to 129W.
Until I get this solved, I am leaving out the switch and I am using only the circular port
Can anyone confirm that the DiSEqC and "saving" work properly with their VSPro + SG2000 setup? Any advice at all would be much appreciated.
