6100 with new bin keeps saying scrambled channel

have to keep turning off switch on back and turning it on again to get a different channel. sometimes in the middle of watching a channel it goes scrambled and have to turn off and on any ideals.. its just my 6100 my 5000 is fine

Have you do factory reset and rescan it right after you flashed your receiver? I am also testing this unit and have no problem

Just wondering how you like the 6100 so far. I am looking to get one soon. Does the auto detect make it easier for the fta impaired? I have friends interested also and I need something to really simplify for them.

love the features of the 6100 but it seems to give more scrambled channel problems than my 6000 or 5000 ive done the factory reset and all but have to cut it off and back on about every other time i change channels. really aggervating. my 5000 never gives any problems. if it werent for that id love it

I wonder why myself, I don't have that problem. I wish I can you better answer for it. Have you try to flash it with the factory bin then with the latest bin?

G.H. I believe you are correct. Installing the factory bin may clean up the system register of any “stray data”. I seemed to correct my issues. Also S.C. make sure that your unit isn’t a Clone. Not sure of issues with Cloned receivers or if any 6100 clones exist.

...Like my 6100 alot. Never did a System recovery. Sat scan Channel scan. Nothing. Good Picture. Using bin 149 since May 14 with excellent results. Noticed some missing channels though a few days ago. But all in all I'm glad I got it.
