For all my fellow cs6100 owners, hope this helps you!
Hey folks, i was having a hard time finding info for my 6100. finaly got some help and thought i would pass it on.
first, go to the menu settings under options, and turn off the autorolls.
then...
go to the keys section of the forums
look for the most recent keys with todays date on them.
one is for bev and one for dn and find the number letter combos.
turn to a ppv chanel on your receiver
now enter in channel 8282
this will take you to a key screen.
it will show either dn or bev, choose yours buy using volume button.
scrool down to the first line, and esure this matches with the first 8 keys.
do this for each line...ensure all numbers/letters match
exit out, save settings and enjoy!

I got mine today & got 'er up & going.
So far as I know, you need to keep autoroll ON so it will roll next time the keys change.
I assume autoroll is working...but one thing is for sure...it won't roll if it's turned OFF.

I thikn bev is imputting fake keys so your machine autorolls off the active keys... that is why you need to turn it off, for the time being.......

That may be true as I am only using DN right now.
Today when I got up, the unit was down...so I check the keys...they are correct, yet it was down.
So a power reboot & she went back up again.
The only problem is...a reboot wipes out the 9 day EGP.
When this unit goes down...not even the music will play (unlike the CS 4/5/6000 models).
Also I notice we lost the "Page up or Down Feature" for the EPG. (unless there is a trick to it?) Anyone?

That's not mentioned in the owners manual.
