If tamil is same as telegu then you have to point your dish at 61.5,82 or 118.7 to get those channel.

Re: how to get telugu channels
elflaco: Tegulu es una lengua vieja por Southern India.
luthermccree: There are more than 15 "Indian" channels on 118.7W AnikF3, but that one requires a large dish with a special LNB. 61.5W and 148W also carry a similar number of channels, but none are specifically Tegulu. Some of the channels are: Sahara One, Zee, Zee Cinema, Alpha Punjabi, Bollywood4U, Set Max and Aajtak.
All you need to do is find the best sat (61.5, 118.7, 148), aim, scan, load the latest file and be proud that you were able to do it. The CS6100 makes it easy to scan the chosen sat through its well developed "Blind Scan" feature.

Re: how to get telugu channels
If you are looking for Gemini/Surya etc. channels, you will need to point at 118.7. I believe Gemini is available only on 118.7(DN). You will need a low band circular LNB to get 118.7 or you can get a DN 1000.2 dish installed and connect your receiver to it.
I do not have a coolsat, but it should not be that hard to set it up once you have the dish pointing correctly at 118.7(Anik F3).

Re: how to get telugu channels
jpeterson: As I recall the unmodified DN1000.2 has a LNB assembly that points to 110-119-129. The DN1000 Plus is the one that gets 110-118.7-119-129. It is most confusing and please correct me if I'm wrong.
