signal for 110
hi lately ive been getting really bad signal for channels in 110. the sat is set up fine...im getting constant high 80's in both, but channel signal has drop drastically, its getting lots of glitches beacause signals for channels drop to low 30's high 20's. Is my lnb going bad? or is there another reason why this is so? any help appreciated. TIA

Re: signal for 110
Welcome to Abadss Aboi. Could be a variety of things. Your Channel Signal and your Q signal are one in the same. If it is intermittant it could be a loose cable connection, or as you say a faulty LNB, check for cracks cause it can let in water, and check cable ends to make sue the copper pin is intact. Could also be your dish needs tweaking.
Start fiddling, let us know.

Could also be a switch going bad. Especially if you are using a diseq switch...

It could also be a bug in the receiver.
Try a Reset (which should be done about every month) and see if it gets better.
Then, after that, and you still have the problem...then look into the other suggestions above.

yeah thanks, but i actually reset the box a lot...but i seemed to fix the problem. I think as jc7257 said above, i think it was my switch. I switch the 110 to a different plug insted of 1 i put it to 3 and signal seem to be a bit stronger. Thanks for help guys. Problem solved for the time being...until i have to replace a new switch. haha

Re: signal for 110
Good deal then.
Some folks don't do the reset & it often cures most problems...so it is the first thing to try.
We all give it a shot...jc hit the $ this time. lol
