Coolsat 6100 Scrambled Channels
Hi,
I have tried all the methods suggested in this forum to try getting rid of the scrambled channels!!..My cs6100 is able to detect channels..and epg runs ok..but only the channel 100 (HOME) and 101(DNFYI) shows up. I have tried sticking to one channel and wait on it ..more than an hr as well..still doesnt work. i have done hard resets as well. I have loaded the norw_186 file.
kindly help with any comments. If you deem it appropriate to kindly advice me with the complete setup again..that would be of great help!!..
Appreciate your comments

Re: Coolsat 6100 Scrambled Channels
This is a real easy fix buddy.
You running an outdated bin file.
Just load bin 188 & your goin'a be fine. >>>

Re: Coolsat 6100 Scrambled Channels
Awesome..it worked with the new bin file..Thanks !!..I do have a problem though. The scrambled channel problem appears every 20 min in any channel i watch. Each time I have to wait approx 5 min for the channel to start working again. is this freeze common? Is there a way to keep the channels up and running uninterrupted?

You'll be alright as soon as the next bin comes out, the freezing will quit.
CoolSat started freezing issues Saturday 6PM EST...and is still doing it.
It's not just you buddy.

Re: Coolsat 6100 Scrambled Channels
Is it possible to revert back to some old bin files which works perfectly fine? Whats the deal with the updates in bin and all that!> I did realize that sometime ago, vers 1.68 or some was workign jus fine no freezing or any backups..only now i try updating to 186 etc, i came across this freezing error. However, i need to add that i tried goign back to 1.68 (i guess?)..nothing worked...none of the channels came through..
any ideaS>?

I think the freeze is about every 5 min on bin 188.
However, the freeze is about 10 min on bin 189.
I'm surprised we didn't see a patch bin last night...maybe tonight?
