Will coolsat box be useless????

Hello all,
I heard we're going to be out of the "system" because Dish is gonna change the chips or something (I'm not sure about), in other words, the coolsat box won't work anymore, is that true?.......

Just do a search on Nigra3. There are lots of posts on this issue already. Not just affecting Coolsat but all FTa boxes.

coolsat have become useless even before talk of any change to a new encryption. That brand is like a cockroach that will not die. There is no telling what we may need or what boxes could survive the change.

Coolsat doesn't work much anyways. though, they have been putting out some new files lately...

What surprises me is that everytime a ECM hits alot of people think its the end and new bins will never arrive. Eventually N3 will be in place and a whole new process will happen all over again. Same thing happened when N2 arrived. Be patience. A new bin will be here soon and the Coolsat will be up and running. For how long... there is no guarantee but, that's the spirit of this hobby.
