USB not working
Hello guys,
I have a 6100 and it seems to be the USB is not working, when I plug in it doesn't show anything on the screen (The codes are saved on the USB, I made sure of it), I'm about to think that the USB port is broken. Any ideas what could be happening?

Re: USB not working
Try to power OFF the switch, then insert the USB stick and turn ON. Let us know.

Re: USB not working
How large is the stick? Some of the smaller units (under 1Gig) seem to perform better. Also if its a crappy (no name) stick from some place in China, it might just be crap.
A name brand stick, Kingston, as an example will rarely give you trouble.

Re: USB not working
It might just not like the stick now. You can try reformatting it and see if that works.

Re: USB not working
It didn't work, nothing on the screen. As I said before, it works in the other box (Same 6100). Any suggestions or ideas...

Re: USB not working
Did you try installing the USB stick, powering off the unit, and then rebooting it - to see if it recognizes it from a cold boot?

Re: USB not working
Maybe its possible to replace the USB connector, they are standard and you can likely get another from an electronics parts place.
