You might want to read more on this chip. As of right now they are not working.

Re: nfusion solaris upgrade down? HELP
bqualters, those were sold by dealers and not from nFusion. I have read that some dealers are refunding money on these. You might want to check on that as well so you are not out the money too.

Re: nfusion solaris upgrade down? HELP
bqualters, I would contact them and talk with them about this and ask for a refund and see what happens.

Re: nfusion solaris upgrade down? HELP
It says SUNS disconnected, first it says connected when I first put it on, then it reads SUNS disconnected......
GEM did you upgrade your nova? Or do you have an actual Solaris?

Re: nfusion solaris upgrade down? HELP
Snake, do you know of anyone receiving any channels with the nova upgraded to the Solaris via the card? I am attempting to ger DN and everything is hooked up correctly.
The screen reads
ON ON OFF OFF SUNS DISCONNECTED
NO RED LIGHT
I tried factory default, everything possible, I am pretty good with this stuff, so I thought.
THANKS

YES, it is. It is set up exactly the way it should be. I think this nova upgrade to solaris is a bunch of CRAP. I am getting a refund for the board and a 20 dollar gift certificate to use for another Nfusion.
-DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR NOVA TO A SOLARIS VIA ETHERNET BOARD, IT DOES NOT WORK!-
Thanks to everyone for helping

Re: nfusion solaris upgrade down? HELP
I know for a fact that NFusion did some security updating and took out the Upgrade board out of their system. That is the reason that the Nova if upgraded by the card will also not work.
Reason: They were afraid that the clone users would have also bought that unit and upgraded the clones as well.
