I love the web loader
For all the nay sayers out there that griped when they added the web loader I say naner naner. I just loaded bin files on 2 different boxes one for my parents one for my BF they are over 300 miles away from me. That just rocks as far as I am concerned. I think this thing is MUCH better than a usb socket so you can use a flash drive on it.

Re: I love the web loader
if they give you their ip address you type it in on your computer and wham bam thank you man they are up. Now one thing I learned today from this site is the box you are sending it to has to be on 100. Then it doesnt know if it is the box in the living room the bed room or the one accross town.

I really love it to but i have not yet mastered how to do it remotely either.
There is something posted (can`t remember where now) and i tried it but there was something that involved the one who receives the update changing router settings.

Re: I love the web loader
Anyone know what channel it needs to be on for b3v.
A buddy of mine lives in another province here in Canada and i would love to try it again.
I tried it before but maybe the channel thing is the reason it did not work. I would assume it needs to be on a free preview channel ?

Re: I love the web loader
They may have to use FireFox as the web browser, many reports of problems when using internet explorer.
