You should get quite a few channels (on BEV) if you load in th3 626 or 626B file. Be sure to power off (using the power switch on the box, NOT via the remote), between installation of the bin(s).

i.e., install (if needed) original factoryh bin. POWER OFF STB. wait a minute or so,
install newer bin (626 or 627) POWER OFF again, Power on do your usual rescan for the cnannel list.

Regrettably (at least for the present) the 628 bin isn't working.
It was quiite impressive downloading the Extended EPG!

Re: captain 7100 no or bad signal

I'm aimed at echostar 8/10 (dish 0101) and nimiq 2 ?(bev 0901). I tried that, says "press ok, to add channels" but just goes to menu. So I've tried all the scans (blind, auto etc) All my settings are the same...luckily I wrote em down before I did the reset.
File 626B? Isn't that for 8000HD? It'll work on my 7100?

Sorry bout the double posts!
My switch and lnb, and cable's all good. I got my POS Ariza hooked up and it's working on DN...it just shuts itself off every 10 minutes or freezes. She's old and tired I guess!
I want my Captain back!
