I want to buy captain 7100 usb can somebody if should Ibuy this reciver or not. I am useing bev 91. Is there bin evertime its go down please help

I heard it is a cool unit but the support is not that fast.

Check out the Captiveworks 800.It is cheap and has great support so far.

I have one and I love it.

Get used to all boxes going down on a ecm hit unless using iks. sv4000 sounds like the new ticket for you.

Sorry for the double post. Not all boxes go down on a ecm but you will get the drift
with more testing.

Even IKS goes down. It does not seem to happen often but no one is immune.

I have a Captain 8000Hd and I love the box, Yes support was slow, almost nonexistent for about three weeks. Now they are near the top with the rest of the big dogs. The Captain has a far better picture than my Nfusion and is easier for me to use.

I know the Captive Works line has great support so they are a solid option also.

Remember what goes up must come down, and no one is immune its all part of the game.

CW800PVR is the way to go.especially if they get iks for all models like they say.Great support and reasonable price too

yes the captain 7100usb is a great unit!
i like it better than the cw's slightly.
dont let the lower cost trick you.
support has been good over the last month or so.
she will pay for herself in no time and the rest is all gravy.
captains have a superior pic also over the cw's.
and im a huge cw fan.
it has a force epg load and favs only in epg that the cw's do not have.
it also has OBS (one button setup) NOTHING is easier than obs.
9 days epg also becuase it has 64 mbs of ram twice that of the cw pre/vs ultra/sv 4k
and also a 200 mhz chip
yup,for sure buddy,we need more people to try these ones out.i give them a huge thumbs up.

it does not have radio info-artist/album/etc info
it also does not have custom background image loading the cw's have.
i also like how search by name feature works with captain over cw's.
otherwise quite comparable in features.
both cw and captains rock!
if i where where to pick,it would be a tough call.very close.
the captains are made superior product though this is for sure.
better remote with the captain as well.
you can't go wrong trying one out thats for sure.
hope to see more here try these power house high quality units.
