Help getting channels
I just recently purchased a 7100 usb and hooked it up with a dish 500 dish (pretty sure its not a legacy lnb, it has a output 1 and 2 and no others outputs and has the dp symbal on the lnb.) I fought with the dish installing it myself with cordinations from satcalc and locl dish network settings.) when ever I scan for birds all I get is echo 7 (119)...which of course means I miss out on most ppv channels. I've been looking everywhere for answers to solve my problem. not sure if its the dish needs to be adjusted slightly or if the settings are wrong. when using obs I select dishpro as the switch and it never finds a port for echo 8/10 (110) and connects to 119 using port 2. Hopefully this is enough information for one of you wise vets to help me determine if its the dish that needs some fine tuning or if the settings are incorrect.

Re: Help getting channels
119 is on port 1. i think what its telling you is that you have to move the dish a bit or skew it. believe me, when we say move here, its fractions of inches, not much. likely its just needs a bit of fine tuning.

I had the same problem and I couldn't find the answer anywhere.
I am using a DP 500 Twin, sounds like that's what you might have.
Make sure you first select Diseqc - 4 ports and then you can select Port 1 for 119 & Port 2 for 110.
If you have truly picked up both birds this should work for you.
