Problems with 119
Weird stuff going on .. going thru my channels today and I notice I'm getting no picture or sound on some channels. I check and I notice it is a problem with channels on 119. I figure they just moved TPs as they did with quite a few channels last week so I do a fresh scan on 119. I scan and I only pick up 160 channels.
I've got network search turned on and I have the search type set to all.
Alignment is not a problem as I'm now using my Dish 500 that was set up by my satellite guy years ago. I recently canceled my subscription to them, so I just started using that dish instead. It's mounted and has not moved an inch.
I know I have to change some TPs for DISH 500 because they only recognize vertical polarity. I have done that on both satellites for 110 and 119.
As I said, 110 is working fine and certain TPs on 119 are working fine. Just a certain few that I'm picking up nothing from.
Also, weather is not a problem as it is sunny and bright out here.
Really weird that I'm just missing certain TPs.
Any help?

Re: Problems with 119
Try to factory reset. Then unplug from the outlet while the reeceiver is ON 30sec. After, turn Off the receiver and plug-in. then setup and do fresh scan.

Will try. Will take me a bit to manually edit these TPs then scan though, so you can check back on this thread later tonight and I'll tell you how it went.

Re: Problems with 119
Also, did a quick scan of only 119 since I know 110 is fine .. but I'm getting about 180 channels (including music) which is way under what I know I should be getting. I got a few different than last time, but I also lost a few I had before.
Before someone brings up my satellite moving .. it is bolted into a brick pier on the back steps of my house. That thing would not move an inch unless I took a sledge hammer to it.

Re: Problems with 119
Alright .. here is where I'm at ..
I've gotten every channel except for just a small few TPs I'm missing on. I'm getting most that I were missing, but not all of them. By using Lyngsat I have found that it is on these three TP's.
The number in parentheses is the number I have to edit my TP from for my Dish Pro ..
TP 13274 (12326)
TP 13099 (12501)
TP 13245 (12355)
Any reason I'd be missing on just those three?
