Problems with updating guide info. - ABA DSS

Can anyone help...

I'm trying to get my guide to provide me with more than just 1hr. of info.

I tried to request extended guide info. for the day etc. and I get nothing.

I have had the unit on for over 20 mins. and it doesn't seem to show me anything but "no info."

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Stay on channel 200 the CNN. if you are in DN.

I was actually watching a movie.

I will tune in to CNN and see how long it takes to update.

Any idea?

like 10 minutes the INFO will pop up...

menu>user settings>extended epg

epg mode>1days/2days/3days/5days/7days/9days
home TP for 7days>change if needed.

set the tp for echo 7 tp 12472

now go into epg.and press blue button.it will load the amount of days you set it to.
wait for it to read finish.

your welcome.
thats where the extended epg information is located.
it used to be defaulted to that tp in the files.but it has been defaulted to anik1 or something,causing the user to have to set it.
easy tho.and the info can be seen on lyngsat.com
you can set it for just a day or 2 worth of epg loading also with no need.but loading the 9 days is good,then you wont have to mess with it again for awhile.
