signal? *82w

Why i am losing signal? and when i change the channel again and again then there is signal. Please help

your not using a splitter are you?
do have another stb hooked up?
whats your complete hardware? and how are you connected to the dish/es?

ok i am on only on nimiq 2 82 bev and signal lose all the time

oh ok.that bird is primarily only pointed to Canada now.and upper parts of the US.

Have you rescanned? Most of the channels have moved to 84 and nag 3. No need to re aim but a rescan is needed, and keep in mind not many channels left that are viewable.

What is 84 and do i have to move my dish? What is N3 and what are they doing to bev?

84 is another sat and no need to move your dish. N3 is a new encryption method and soon all of bev will be gone.

Rescan on your receiver and it should be fine. Have you made sure all your connections are tight and free of corrosion? If the resan does not help, start looking at your connections. Good Luck.

its nimiq 4 still at 82w actually.
