its good for all captain models.
sticky thread here in help section for instructions.
when you go to factory default,select both options user settings and channels.

Captain coders getting things done nicely here.
some bug fixes here.that's always great to see.
they take the time to work hard on other things besides just ecms.
this is so important.don't see this enough imho from some of the others.i guess they have it basically working and don't care.
theses boys are cleaning her up to run even smoother.
such a wonderful stb.i find it so interesting to see these things.
that's the difference between basic and advanced coders right here.

I agree it is nice to see a team trying to perfect a box.I still do not understand how more people have not tried their stb's.Hopefully they will keep on keepin on!!!

all we need is a couple more users who have a couple heck,even one other stb,to try one these out.(i say this,because if a person only buys and owns one of these,they might just assume and take for granted what it is,and think its like the others)
a few more to try,and we both know,they would say WOW too lol.that would get more interested in these gems.

i think its the extremely low price,that might be throwing people off.but there are others,mainly one other "popular" unit with these price tags.
thing is,these have a 5 year warranty unlike the "other" one priced the same.and these ones are Korean made unlike the "other".
the difference is very clear when you connect it to the tv and see that pic.
every time i watch it-very often because its my personal favorite standard def unit,i keep finding myself not paying attention to what im watching,cus i keep focusing on that high quality pic lol.
i just hate these going so unnoticed.its a shame.
i know people will love these.

well,their so simple to setup and use.im sure there are others no doubt here using these.but there's just not much help needed with these.it sets itself up.all you do is watch and bam,antenna settings are entered and channels scan all by itself.
so im sure the others who have one here,just are not having much trouble.
so this section kinda goes unnoticed.
id like to talk more about my personal favorite stbs.hope to see more join in on the captain ship

Sorry to get back to you late , dam ice storm kicked my butt.Been without power for three days.Yes I totaly agree , I have yet to figure out why these units doesn't seem to be as popular.I have tested several well known brands and this is by far the one I watch except for when I need the nfusion.And with the way TC is taking care of buisness that hasn't been for too long at a time. I love just trying to find new birds/channels with the 7100.The scans are so fast compared to other well know boxes out there.I have no problem recommending this unit , because this box is the easiest I have ever seen to set up.Like I have said many times this box has paid for itself many times over.I have had the 7100 a while now and I still enjoy it , the features and ease of use it just great!!! I also believe the reason you don't see alot of posts about these is because you never need help with these , I mean one button setup .What more can you say....
