I can understand that this young blood is just expressing his opinion! and we should not really criticize him for expressing his opinion.

Now the RUMOR which appeared in few FTA SITES, incl. here is a welcome Humorus News. I am a die hard VS Fan fellows; in my humble opinion VS receivers especially Xtreme 2000 models probably the best receivers ever built, it is easy to set up, easy to use and practical.

I personally am not very fond of IKS System, do I have one, yes I do..only out of necessity! But I haven't given up my hopes, I do believe that VS is working on a stand-alone Fix and I do believe that they will come up with a Fix. If it is going to be on Sept 17...well sooner the better

I think it is all about the money! There will be a fix, don't know when, but someone that helped with the new encription will be bought and we will have service once again. I'm waiting to see which company steps up and pays the price.

I hate to be the stick in the mud, but Kwak is charged and the VS coders who are not indicted are running for cover. If VS releases a N3 solution I will be pleasantly surprised, but from what I've read they say they are releasing a new box first, then the fix. If this is true, it is a scam of epic proportions and I urge eveyone in the community not to be fooled. Any company that asks that you buy new hardware before you get the software to make it work is in all probability scamming you.

sorry to say is a matter of time bebore dish starts trowing ecm if there a way to do it or start busting the servers don,t you see other sites they already busted a couple. just my 2 cents

the reason that i that is a matter of time before they start busting iks users is because i read a note saying that microsoft was coming out with a way to trace servers and endusers if i find it i,ll posted so you guys get a idea to see if if true or not .thanks just my thinking.

that seems BS to me... even if they offer this it would be on voluntary basis & more over, I don't think coders are using IIS, mostly they are using highly tweaked freeBSD with caching otherwise with this kind of load, you will need a server farm for this.

hmm... that is something new, I can understand the 1st part about cover maybe that's why they never released IKS solution for the time. can't say much about your 2nd part about new model until I see one. But I do remember only thing that when they released VS MAX HD while N3 was rolling out, I always wondered why they are releasing new model during N3 rollout, maybe they want to make quick money & exit, but I do warned users not to fall for this & better wait till they release N3 fix before investing, it seems some ignored this & end up buying this model & now its paper weight for HD channels.

I personally will wait till Sep 17th, if this end up as another BS rumor, will cut the losses & buy nFusion. Altough won't buy HD model yet as who known what kind of ECM is in the works for N3.

I have more than 15 years in this "hobby" since the first "s" card from DTV, who said there is no hack for DTV? it is and I saw it, the problem is that is not public, you'll wonder why? because the only sat provider that use NDS code A.K.A. DTV is DTV and if somebody make it public it's against the law in the USA (everybody knows that DTV is for sale only in the USA) so the point is if you trying to sell the code to open DTV they're going to catch you cuz the market is just for the USA and it doesn't worth the effort and the $$ to decode DTV to make it public if you can't sell it, you can make it public for free you would say, but what's the bussiness for the decoders? and it's to much risk, that's why they doesn't care about DTV anymore, in the other hand you have DISH and BEV and many other more, that they're "easily" to decode and their code is not exclusive for them, they're using the same code (N3) in Europe and some Asian countries so that give the coders the advantage to work with it, the only thing is they haven't got the whole map of the card (N3 decription) those rumors about vs new stand alone fix they are just that, RUMORS, don't trust what is posted from somebody that said he is a friend of a friend from the cousin of the friend of the main hacker, if VS has the fix for N3 they're going to release it without doing to much publicity or doing some stupid posts saying "WE BEING ROBED" BS who ever did that was a very idiot guy and more are the people who belive in that Sh*t

Breaking News: Viewsat (inside story) I got information from not just dealer but distributor that.... ..... Viewsat is in the process of warping up & closing it's business (filing bankruptcy). Too bad for current owners, if you are looking for pure FTA, wait month or so... you will find dealers getting rid of VS FTA @ half the price like Neosat. This is very much a confirmed news, Viewsat is delaying the news so they could sell as many as possible to get rid of their inventory w/o loss. Well that explains why no I*S ever came out. I will give it till christmas before they go public with this. I am very confident about the source, anyway all non-belivers, wait till december & you will have to thank me for posting this
