Help

Just tried to update my Viewsat HD with the new GUI, did a factory reset when I try to load the file it says "Wrong Image File" any ideas

delete the file and try it again, you shouldnt need to do a default to load the file though.

Did you UN-zip the file? Did you download the correct fix for this model (9000 HD)? ..the filename that you would be installing should end with the extansion "pgm", not "zip", or "bin".

... a word to the wise:
in future, a more descriptive title to your post will get you help faster.

if you know your antenna settings you can use the clean system file

Need some help again, tried to load new bin and get "Wrong Image File" again. Ran the cleaner and reloaded factory files downloaded new bin file twice still get the same window "Wrong Image File"

Yes Sir, I have two receivers the other one is the Viewsat Pro. No problems uploading the files. Just can't get the HD unit to do the same. Tried everything Ran Cleaner PRogram, instaled new factory software, just won't take the new GUI File

Hi Ind98, not sure if your using the correct files as you are continuing to reference a BIN file. As mentioned in earlier posts, Viewsat uses a pgm file extension, please see the link attached to the factory upgrade: http://www.abadss.com/forum/855-view...file-v132.html

As well, the more information you add to your help requests the easier it is for the folks out here to help, so dont be scared to ramble on.

If you can please let us know the files you are trying to load and you will get the help you need.

you did go to receiver upgrade:
USB:
from there go to the folder with the program
scroll to it click on it. it will be abbreviated so
look for the short word version of it.......
.pgm
