Mine won't update either

I tried to update my box w/ the 2.26# (I extract file & transferred to the usb) but starts to download then stops saying (Fail !) the #'s stop to something saying E030. I've tried many times but it keeps failing. Any suggestions?

format your usb stick with fat32 and try loading the bin again

A hard boot is just turning the back power switch off then on again. Did you do what mountaineer suggested by unzipping the file?

Yes, I unzipped it before transferring it to the usb and I did that switch on the back of the box too.

umm? Maybe is it bc I just bought a SanDisk USB that is an 16GB? Would that affect it. I lost the one I use to use all my downloading, the only difference in them was the one I lost was a 8GB usb.

To format your thumb drive, on your PC, go to my computer, find the drive you have the thumb drive in, right click it, then select format, then Fat 32...

Try deleting the copy you have, then download a fresh copy from here. The put the extracted copy to your thumbdrive, turn the back power switch off on the receiver, insert the thumbrive then turn the power switch back on.
