Dead CW
I have a receiver that will not power up. It went dead after loading the 226 file. I do understand that it was a cone killer, but me and my friends have purchsed 30 receivers from an authourized dealer, and only have one dead box. How can I do a download to try to bring it back to life?

Re: Dead CW
Sorry man theres no file or jtag program out for that so theres no way around it for now but hang on to it...maybe in the near future someone will come out with a jtag program to fix it. That is if it is a clone you have.

Re: Dead CW
No power or lights, sounds like a capacitor blew out. Open the lid, look and see if you see any small capacitor swelled up or black around it...

Re: Dead CW
ive read even authorized dealers have gotten a hold of some clones...what color are the batteries for the remote that came w/ it? green&black or red&black (clone)
try the capacitor route mentioned above, it wont hurt anything to look.
