No Files For The 700/800? - ABA DSS

Why are there no files for the 7 ad 8's? That is really odd. The 600s and 600p have files for 4 hours already? I don't get it...any ideas?

Surprise, like what? No file? I've had a 700 for about 2 years and this is the first time that all CW files have been out without the 700/800 files. Usually it's the 3000/4000, then the 700/800, then the 6XX files. This has never happened before.

I guess there is a problem with 700 and 800's out there that are clones...maybe that has something to do with it. I know that I'm not happy with the CaptiveWorks 700 that I have and it will be have the same fate as my CoolSat 5000...gathering dust on a shelf while I scan sats with a SONICVIEW 360 Elite!....WAGGS

Why would it have anything to do with the clones? Do you think they are trying to find a way to write bins for clones? Why would they do that? The clones are not supported by CW. I think it has to do with whoever writes the bins took off before he/she got to the 700/800 bins or forgot that he/she didn't write any bins for the 700/800 since those are usually out before the 6XX bins. Whatever the problem, I think I'll start looking at IKS.

They haven't been released yet...as soon as they are we'll have them here.

I'm not saying that they are trying to write bins for clones, they may be writing a bin that has another one of those verification codes, where we type in the CW serial #...WAGGS

I think any bin beginning at and after 2.26 crashes a clone. At least that is what someone was posting telling people to verify that they do not have a clone because new bins wipe-out the clone. Even if, which they are not, writing software to verify a serial number and it has been done twice before, how long does it take to copy the previous verification program to a new bin? About 2 seconds? Something else is going on and I don't like it.

I've looked on about 5 other sites and I can't find a new CW700 bin. You must be seeing the 2.28 6-3 bin that some people were still posting yesterday.

iv been down since 6pm est with my newly bought cw800 .iv checked other sites for new bins.none have anything new up.im old school f1 h4 card vet.we just have to be patient

same here with my 700 just waiting - no problem I have back up it will get the BIN out eventualy.

This is not uncommon, A while back the file for my cw4000 came out a day later than all the rest. just give them time it will be there.

i know this isnt the right thread but,has anyone messed around with emulation on the cw units?i know it worked good untill dave killed the hu and went p4 .

Sorry, they were posted on this site, but for some reason they have been withdrawn, I have it down loaded but not going to install yet.

thats strange they would have been withdrawn.i had just got my 800 up early friday morning,we spent 48 hours glued to on demand,and then 6 pm sun poof,all gone.we have hulu-p-bay as backup lol. wow how we get addicted to tv
