Warning CW700 Owners

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO ENTER THE SERIAL NUMBER OF YOUR BOX.
use your remtoe control number buttons to enter the serial number which is located in the bottom or on the warrenty card
WARNING: Enterning wrong serial number may harm your receiver

the serial number is on your warranty card and i think on the bottom of you reciever starts with cw7 you have to enter it in 2 times to verify ..
small fix

after you load the box with the serial it will reboot with the new bin ..if you get no sound.. fix just shut off in the back and then back on ..

now there are supposed cracks but really do you want to take the chance . here is what one coder said to the cracks / serial work arounds

I took a serial number from one 700 and applied it to another and it worked fine...
I don't think the receiver knows what serial number it has...The bin is just looking for a
genuine serial number period.........sort of like windows O/S

why don't you post the serial so everyone can use it. Multiple use of serials I hope that works for you......lol. Let us know if your box dies later. SO I take it you have a clone box and a good box or you would not have even tried doing that. No reason to even attempt that if you do not have clone box. But I am sure that was taken in to account only time will tell. But please give us the serial number you used so everyone can use it....hehehehe

BTW:
If you have another box too try entering all 1's 111111111 I bet it takes that too. Wonder if that box will still be running in a month.....lolGive it a try and let us know.

now i am just posting this bit because i do not want any of the members here crying because they tried to work around the serial security feature by captiveworks ..
