coolsat 7100 149 fix freezes.

picture freezes says scrambled channel unable to use remote i do a reboot then redo bev & dn eepg,later on picture freezes again.Is there a solution for this problem?

I don't know of anybody else reporting your problem, so I would try a reset to remove everything & start over again...see if that helps & get back to us friend.

i dont no if this will help in your case but my cs7000 started freezing with 148 so i give up on it and unplugged it for the night,inthe morning i did factory default and loaded file again it worked good until last hit.hope this helps.

Mine does that often when it's left on for too long, like over night. I do that main power switch thing and it's instantly ready to go.

Newly purchased CS 7100. Have Norm 150 installed. Has also done the following on earlier Norms. All channels OK until next morning. Screen has picture on it with words "Scrambled Channel" over it. Set will not turn off from either remote of front button. After turning off main switch on rear, then turn back on. all works good again. Never have been viewing when freeze occurred. There have been other times when remote or front button would not and required master switch to be turned of and back on for set to work. Any ideas ?

Mine has been doing this for quite awhile. I have to power cycle 2 or 3 times a day. I tried reloading factory and bin, still does the same thing. Not a big problem when I am home to reset, but really inconvenient when I record or use slingbox.

You will need a new bin file to fix your problem.
Support from CoolSat has been poor to nothing for a good while now...sorry 'bout that...
