2 Recievers to one motor?

is this possible to do without any cable swapping?

i want two recievers hooked up to the same motorized dish.....only ONE reciever will be used at a time.....they will both be on the same TV.....

i want to buy an older reciever maybe a coolsat or something that has good blind scan capabilities to use for true FTA KU band only.....

and i want to keep my VS ultra hooked up to use only for BEV and DN.....

is this possible??

Sounds worth a try doesn't it. I would put a splitter on the "Out to STB" side of the motor. By having the second cable run from the roof to the STB, if it doesn't work you can always add the additional antenna setup to handle your VS box. Not sure if the splitter would work at the STB end though. Most certainly you would probably have to make sure that only 1 STB at a time is powered though. As I said, worth a try and probably wont lose anything if you do try it. Let us know how it goes.
