Where did "RetroJams" go?
I've been watching RetroJams on 123w for awhile now, but it's been gone for the last few days.
Anyone know if it changed TP's or is no longer broadcasting?

Re: Where did "RetroJams" go?
I'm getting a strong enough signal from that Sat and TP with my 1 Meter dish and Invacom LNB, but no no audio or video on that channel.
It was working a few days ago, but no more.
I think a few other channels on 123w have gone missing as well even though I have good S/Q on the TP's.

Re: Where did "RetroJams" go?
I noticed it was gone too. I never did have audio and was going to ask why that is so if anyone has an answer for any of these questions it would be great. It seems theres not as much on this sat any more.

Retro Jams went dark the day of analog shutoff. Still getting some network stuff... Not sure for how long. Sad indeed, RJ was one of my favs...

Has anyone else noticed if there are any other stations affected?

RJ was broadcast in AC3 audio....you need audio equipment that is compatible, such as a good surround sound system with amplifier......you also need to use the fiber optic output on your receiver......

Re: Where did "RetroJams" go?
I've notice I could receive 30 channels off of 123W but now I only get like 11 or so. I usually watch univision. Telefutura also is another channel that has gone. I remember Arbor our mod here once said that 123W needed money to say afloat but I wasn't sure if it was 123W or another Sat.

Re: Where did "RetroJams" go?
Equity filed Chapter 11 and stations were pulled from the sat starting soon after and others dropped off the day before or the day of analog went dead, June 12th.
Very little to watch on 123 W now.
May she rest in peace

Re: Where did "RetroJams" go?
Been reading about the slow demise of 123W.. Sad, indeed... Since I am rather new to all of this, what do you veterans recommend as an option (even if it is only a second best)?
ps. Not really into the 24/7 religion channels................
Bye for now........

there is not really much english programming left on ku-band......97w would be your next best option but its 90% international.....

Well, at 101W there is Biography, History channel, and KUIL outta Beaumont.
E! on 99W, ION on 119W (circular)
Take a look at North & South America - LyngSat to find out what's on those sats
