Best True FTA Satellite?
Now that my viewsat ultra isn't working I'm planning on taking it to a trailer I have in Georgia and using a 36" dish to get true FTA programming. So can any of you tell me which is the true FTA satellite with the most english programming that can be picked up with an Ultra and an 36" dish in Georgia? Being that now I only get two channels there, anything will be a big improvement. Thanks.

Re: Best True FTA Satellite?
if i were you, i'd grab a dish motor and a linear LNB and pickup all FTA birds in the sky. there's not a ton on there, but it's better than 2

Re: Best True FTA Satellite?
unfortunately with the demise of 123W there really isnt alot of english programming left on ku-band.....
97w would probably be your next best bet....lots of channels there but about 95% of them are international.....

Re: Best True FTA Satellite?
There are not a lot English channels on 97 West but few of them very valuable. If You like to watch the news there are Al-Jazera , Russia Today ( like Russian CNN) MHZ Worldview ( mostly programs in English from other countries) a lot of music channels (one in English), educational channel EBRU . Everything depends what are You interested in. Also a lot of religious channels in many languages , also in English .You do not try You never know.

What I'm mainly looking for are the network channels, ABC, FOX, CBS, ect. I was searching all day on lygnsat but there really isn't much out there in KU.

Re: Best True FTA Satellite?
What about Galaxy 16 (99W)? It has a few decent looking channels listed (ABC, NBC, Fox) for C band ... but I never see anyone mention it.
